Business consultation and training centre “LatConsul” is a sophisticated and active training company that is located in modern and cosy premises in the very heart of Riga - Raiņa bulvaris 2.
“LatConsul” offers:
- Business management consultations and corporate training;
- Seminars and courses on EU structural funding and project management, as well as consultations and support for project development;
- Seminars and courses on financial management and accounting;
- Courses and teaching aids for foreign language learning;
- Seminars and courses on marketing, customer service and sales;
- Wine culture courses, etc.
“LatConsul” mission – promotion of the clients’ personal and professional development for successful business by offering contemporary, innovative and high quality consultations and training that is improving client’s quality of life in socially responsible way.
Now and then
“LatConsul”, Ltd. started its work in 2003 by offering companies training and private consultations on issues connected with the European Union (EU) structural funds; and this still is one of the main fields the company is working in.
The range of offers was growing and already one year later “Lat Consul” became accredited training centre that offers wide range of courses, seminars, and business management consultations that have been licensed and accredited by the Ministry of Education.
Now “LatConsul” has become a stable and well-known company in the field of adult education in Latvia and outside it; it has gained loyal clients by current high quality services and individual approach to the wishes of each client.
Projects
„LatConsul” is not only great adviser for those who want to write projects and receive EU funding to set-up and develop their business but also active project developer and executer in Latvia and internationally.
Grundtvig training course “PRACTICAL EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT – PROJECT DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT” as part of EU Lifelong Learning Program has been organized and taking place in the business consulting and training centre “LatConsul” already for 2 years. During the course we have been hosting many representatives of various European countries.
At the moment we are involved in a project ”Family Business” but not so long ago we were offering wide course of Finnish for medical personnel and their families as part of “Spurtti” project.
Since 2007, the training centre “LatConsul” has great cooperation with folk school in Germany – “Volkshochschule fur den Landkreis Regen” (VHS) and together many projects have been already developed.
Achievements
Up till now we have trained almost 10000 Latvian entrepreneurs, managers and employees who are not only from small companies that have just a couple of employees but also employees of the biggest companies in Latvia, as well we have worked with the state and municipality institutions.

A survey by Latvian Business Consultation Association (2011) shows that “LatConsul” is the fifth biggest business management and consultation company in Latvia.
Social responsibility
“LatConsul” is a member of Latvian National Project Management Association (LNPMA) and Latvian Association of Business Consultants (LABC). Since 2012, it is also the member of Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
The company regularly takes part in supporting charity by participating in the work of association “FOUNDATION FOR SOCIETY”, as well as donating money to various charity events (Children’s Hospital, Torņkalns Church, ect.).
We have also become the supporters of Latvia State Blood Donor Centre.
